Voz is feminine despite ending in a consonant. The plural is voces, with the regular -z → -ces spelling change. Beyond the physical voice, it means 'word' or 'entry' in a dictionary (una voz del diccionario) and 'vote/say' in the phrase no tener voz ni voto ('to have no say whatsoever'). Voz pasiva and voz activa are the grammatical passive and active voices.
