Also means
thrilling
Usage Note
Emocionante describes something that provokes strong emotion — excitement, thrills, or even moving emotion — so context determines which English equivalent fits best. It is invariable for gender (un partido emocionante, una película emocionante) and inflects for number (partidos emocionantes). Do not confuse with emocionado (emotionally moved/excited oneself, a past participle used predicatively).
Examples
"El final del partido fue muy emocionante."
Natural Translation
The end of the match was very exciting.
