Usage Note

Antojo covers both a sudden food craving and a passing whim or fancy (a su antojo = 'at his whim'). It is especially associated with pregnancy cravings (antojos de embarazada). The verb antojarse is used like gustar: Se me antoja un helado means 'I feel like an ice cream'.
