Usage Note
Supersticioso is a four-form adjective: supersticioso / supersticiosa / supersticiosos / supersticiosas. The noun is superstición (f). In Latin American countries certain beliefs — knocking on wood, avoiding the number 13, the evil eye (mal de ojo) — are so widespread that calling someone supersticioso is descriptive rather than pejorative.
Examples
"Es muy supersticioso y evita el número trece."
Natural Translation
He is very superstitious and avoids the number thirteen.
