Usage Note

Sobrado means 'having more than is needed' — tengo sobradas razones means 'I have more than enough reasons'. It can also describe a person as sobrado de confianza (overconfident). In colloquial Spain, ir de sobrado means to act arrogant or full of oneself. The adverb de sobra ('more than enough') is more common in everyday speech.
