Usage Note

Ridículamente intensifies an adjective or verb by highlighting absurd excess, e.g. ridículamente caro ('ridiculously expensive'). Like all Spanish adverbs in -mente, it takes the feminine adjective base (ridícula) plus -mente; if two -mente adverbs appear together, only the last keeps the suffix (rápida y ridículamente).
