Usage Note
Revelar means to reveal or disclose information, and also to develop photographic film. Be careful not to confuse it with rebelar (to rebel) — they sound identical but are spelled differently and mean opposite things. Revelar un secreto = to reveal a secret; revelarse = to be revealed.
