Usage Note
Involucrado uses estar and agrees in gender: involucrada, involucrados. It often carries the nuance of being caught up in something — positive (estar involucrado en el proyecto) or negative (estar involucrado en el escándalo). The verb is involucrar; the reflexive involucrarse en means 'to get involved in'. It is slightly more formal than implicado, which is nearly synonymous.
