Usage Note
Acompañar covers going with a person physically as well as a musical sense ('to accompany on an instrument'). The reflexive is rarely used; instead, the verb naturally takes an object: te acompaño ('I'll come with you / I'll keep you company'). Que te acompañe la suerte is a common well-wishing phrase.
