Usage Note
Indignación denotes a strong sense of moral outrage or righteous anger at injustice. It is stronger than enojo (annoyance) and more principled than rabia (rage). The verb indignar and reflexive indignarse are common: me indigna esa injusticia = 'that injustice outrages me.' The Indignados movement gave the word renewed political currency in Spain after 2011.
