equivalent
Usage Note
Equiparable derives from equiparar (to equate, to compare on equal terms) and means that two things can be placed on a par: su salario no es equiparable al de sus colegas is 'his salary is not comparable to that of his colleagues'. It is slightly more formal than comparable and implies rough equivalence rather than exact similarity.
Examples
"Su rendimiento no es equiparable al del año pasado."
Natural Translation
His performance is not comparable to that of last year.
