Usage Note
Doblemente intensifies an adjective or predicate by indicating something is true in two respects simultaneously — es doblemente difícil means it is doubly difficult, both in one way and another. It is more formal and written than colloquial speech, where dos veces más or el doble de often substitutes.
Examples
"Esta situación es doblemente complicada."
