Usage Note
Cristiano functions as both adjective (fe cristiana) and noun (un cristiano, a Christian). In very colloquial Spain, hablar en cristiano means 'to speak plainly / in plain Spanish,' a humorous idiom that has nothing to do with religion. The feminine form is cristiana.
Examples
"La arquitectura cristiana domina el casco antiguo."
Natural Translation
Christian architecture dominates the old town.
