Usage Note
Arzobispo heads an archidiócesis (archdiocese), ranking above a obispo (bishop) in the Catholic hierarchy. The feminine arzobispa exists but is rarely used in the Catholic Church. The title of address is Su Eminencia for a cardinal-archbishop or Monseñor for others.
