Usage Note

Celestial describes anything belonging to the sky or heavens, from astronomical bodies (cuerpos celestiales, 'celestial bodies') to a divine or transcendent quality (música celestial, 'heavenly music'). In color usage, azul celestial is a soft sky blue. It is an invariable adjective for gender — el ángel celestial and la esfera celestial both use the same form.
