Usage Note

Celeste primarily means a pale, sky-blue colour in everyday Spanish (una camisa celeste). It also carries the literary/religious sense of 'heavenly' or 'of the sky'. As a colour adjective it is invariable for gender but forms the plural celestes. It should not be confused with the proper name Celeste.

Examples
