Usage Note
Cabezas is the plural of cabeza (head). Beyond the anatomical meaning it appears in idioms: cabeza de lista (top of the ballot), cabeza de turco (scapegoat), and in the compound cabezas rapadas (skinheads). Cabeza is feminine even though it ends in -a, and its gender does not change in the plural.
