Also means
mouthful
Usage Note
Bocado means a single bite or mouthful of food — un bocado de pan (a bite of bread). It also appears in the idiomatic phrase no probar bocado, meaning to not eat a single bite. Do not confuse with bocadillo, which is a small sandwich (Spain) or a speech bubble in comics.
Examples
"Solo comió un bocado y dejó el plato."
Natural Translation
He only ate one bite and left the plate.
