Usage Note
Aversión denotes a strong, often instinctive dislike or repugnance, stronger than mere antipatía. It is typically followed by the preposition a — aversión al riesgo ('risk aversion'). The plural aversiones is regular but the singular accent on the final syllable shifts in the plural: aversión -> aversiones (no accent needed on plurals ending in -es after -ión).
Examples
"Tiene una fuerte aversión al ruido."
Natural Translation
She has a strong aversion to noise.
