térmico
thermal
adjective TEHR-mee-koh Rare
Origin: From Greek thermos (warm), via Latin thermicus.
Also means
heat-related
Usage Note
Térmico is the standard adjective for anything relating to heat or temperature: central térmica (power plant), puente térmico (thermal bridge in insulation), ropa térmica (thermal clothing). It follows regular gender/number agreement. Do not confuse with termal, which is reserved for naturally heated mineral waters — a balneario termal has thermal springs, not just warmth.
Examples
"La ropa térmica te protege del frío."
Natural Translation
Thermal clothing protects you from the cold.
