Rotonda is the standard Spanish term for a traffic roundabout (glorieta is also common in some regions). It also refers to a circular architectural space or a rotunda building. In road signs and GPS instructions, incorporarse a la rotonda means 'enter the roundabout'. Glorieta and rotonda are largely interchangeable in peninsular Spain.
