Usage Note
Rehacer is an irregular verb patterned on hacer: past participle rehecho, present rehago, preterite rehíce. It means to do something again or to reconstruct ('rehacer la vida' = to rebuild one's life, a very common phrase after loss or change). The prefix re- always adds the sense of repetition or restoration. The participle rehecho can also be used as an adjective.
