Psíquico can mean both 'of the psyche/mind' (a scientific/medical sense: trastorno psíquico, mental disorder) and 'paranormal' (a médium psíquico, a psychic). Context almost always clarifies which sense is meant. Note that the initial p in psíquico is silent in normal speech, so it sounds like síquico — and síquico is an accepted spelling variant in Spanish. The related noun is psique (psyche).
