Usage Note

Peruana is the feminine form of peruano, used both as a noun ('a Peruvian woman') and as an adjective (la cocina peruana). As an adjective it agrees with its noun in gender and number. Note that Spanish nationality adjectives are not capitalised: una mujer peruana, not Peruana.
