Nómada is used as both an adjective (una tribu nómada — 'a nomadic tribe') and a noun (los nómadas — 'the nomads'). It is a two-gender invariable adjective — the same form is used for both masculine and feminine. The opposite is sedentario. In modern usage it appears in nómada digital ('digital nomad'), a widespread term for location-independent workers.
