Usage Note

Nulo in legal and administrative language means invalid or of no effect (el contrato es nulo = the contract is void). Colloquially it also means terrible at something (soy nulo para la música = I'm hopeless at music). The feminine form is nula; the plural forms are nulos/nulas.
