Also means
tights, socks
Usage Note
Medias is almost always used in the plural to refer to stockings or tights; the singular media in this sense is rare. In Latin America medias commonly means 'socks' (calcetines in Spain). The word also appears in the compound a medias ('halfway', 'half-heartedly') — a completely different usage a learner should not confuse with the clothing item.
Examples
"Se puso las medias antes de los zapatos."
Natural Translation
She put on her stockings before her shoes.
