Usage Note
Luna is feminine, as in most Romance languages. Beyond the moon, luna means a large mirror or pane of glass in everyday Spanish — la luna del espejo (the mirror glass), la luna del coche (the car windscreen). Luna de miel (honeymoon, literally 'honey moon') is a common phrase. The adjective lunar means 'lunar' but as a noun un lunar means a mole or beauty spot on the skin.
Examples

Natural Translation
The full moon lit up the path.
