It is particularly common in discussions of elderly cognition (mantuvo su lucidez hasta el final — 'she kept her lucidity to the end') and in literary criticism praising clear, incisive writing. The plural lucideces is grammatically correct but very rare. Note the -z -> -ces spelling change: lucidez -> lucideces.
