Usage Note
Lucidez is a feminine noun denoting mental clarity and sharpness; its adjective is lúcido. It is particularly common in discussions of elderly cognition (mantuvo su lucidez hasta el final — 'she kept her lucidity to the end') and in literary criticism praising clear, incisive writing. The plural lucideces is grammatically correct but very rare. Note the -z -> -ces spelling change: lucidez -> lucideces.
Examples
"Respondió con gran lucidez a cada pregunta."
Natural Translation
She answered every question with great lucidity.
