lindar
to border
verb leen-DAHR Rare
Origin: From Latin limes, limitis (boundary).
Also means
to adjoin
Usage Note
Lindar means for a piece of land or territory to share a boundary with another — España linda con Francia ('Spain borders France'). It is almost exclusively used with the preposition con. The noun forms linde (f) and lindero (m) mean 'boundary' or 'border marker'. Do not confuse with lindar + a which is an older usage; modern standard usage pairs it with con.
Examples
"El jardín linda con el bosque."
