Usage Note
Letargo refers to deep drowsiness, torpor, or sluggishness — physical, mental, or metaphorical (el letargo económico = economic stagnation). In zoology it also means hibernation (letargo invernal). The adjective letárgico describes the state. It is always masculine: el letargo.
