Also means
livable
Usage Note
Habitable describes a space that meets minimum conditions for human occupation. In architecture and real estate, superficie habitable is the net usable floor area. It contrasts with inhabitable, which confusingly means 'uninhabitable' in Spanish — the opposite of its English cognate.
Examples
"El apartamento no es habitable en invierno."
Natural Translation
The apartment is not habitable in winter.
