Frito is both the past participle of freír (to fry) and a standalone adjective. In colloquial speech estar frito means to be done for or in deep trouble — estoy frito can mean 'I'm fried' in the sense of being exhausted or finished. The plural fritos is also used as a noun meaning fried foods.
