Fragilidad denotes both physical fragility (glass, bones) and emotional or structural vulnerability. In recent years it has gained prominence in psychology and social commentary (fragilidad emocional, fragilidad democrática). The adjective is frágil. Do not confuse with debilidad (weakness), which implies lack of strength rather than the risk of breakage.
