Usage Note
Filosófico agrees in gender and number with the noun it modifies (debate filosófico, corriente filosófica). As a noun, un filósofo / una filósofa is 'a philosopher.' The colloquial phrase ponerse filosófico means 'to get philosophical' or to start musing abstractly, often used with mild irony.
Examples
"Planteó una pregunta filosófica difícil."
