Fabuloso originally meant 'of or like a fable, legendary', and that literary sense survives: seres fabulosos are mythical creatures. In modern usage it more commonly means fabulous in the colloquial sense of wonderful or amazing. The feminine is fabulosa; the adverb is fabulosamente.
