Also means
funeral
Usage Note
Entierro denotes the act of burying a body as well as the funeral ceremony itself. It is more commonly used in Latin America to refer to the whole funeral event, while in Spain funeral or sepelio may be preferred for the ceremony. The related verb is enterrar ('to bury'), and entierro should not be confused with tierra ('earth/land'), though they share the same root.
Examples
"Asistimos al entierro de nuestro vecino."
Natural Translation
We attended our neighbour's burial.
