Usage Note

Dental is an invariable adjective (same form for masculine and feminine) used for anything relating to teeth: clínica dental (dental clinic), cuidado dental (dental care), hilo dental (dental floss). In linguistics, it also describes consonants articulated with the tongue against the teeth, such as Spanish t and d.
