Cultivador refers to a person who cultivates land or grows crops; the feminine form is cultivadora. It can also refer to a mechanical cultivator (the farm tool). In a figurative sense, cultivador de la amistad (cultivator of friendship) appears in elevated prose. Note that cultivo is the noun for the act or result of cultivation, while cultivador is the agent.
