Corrector as an adjective means 'corrective' (medida correctora); as a noun it refers to a proofreader or editor (corrector de estilo, 'copy editor') and also to correction fluid or a correcting pen (corrector líquido, 'liquid paper'). The feminine correctora is used for a woman in the proofreading role. In digital contexts corrector ortográfico is the standard term for a spell-checker.
