Also means
nailed, precise
Usage Note
Clavado literally means nailed (past participle of clavar) but is widely used in colloquial Latin American Spanish to mean 'identical' or 'spitting image' — es clavado a su padre means he's the spitting image of his father. It can also describe something perfectly timed or exact: llegó clavado a las ocho (he arrived bang on eight). This colloquial usage is more common in Mexico and Central America than in Spain.
