Usage Note

Aristocrático describes both someone belonging to the nobility and anything bearing aristocratic qualities — refined manners, elegant bearing, or haughty aloofness. The noun is aristócrata (invariable for gender: el/la aristócrata). In informal speech, calling someone aristocrático can be lightly ironic or snobbish in tone.
