Usage Note
Antipersona is invariable — it does not change for gender or number: mina antipersona, minas antipersona (anti-personnel mine, mines). It appears almost exclusively in military, humanitarian, and treaty contexts, notably in discussion of the Ottawa Treaty banning anti-personnel landmines. The fuller form antipersonal is also used.
Examples
"Las minas antipersona están prohibidas por un tratado."
Natural Translation
Anti-personnel mines are banned by a treaty.
