Also means
scuffle
Usage Note
Agarrón is an augmentative of agarre ('grip'), from agarrar ('to grab'). It denotes a forceful, sudden grab or a brief physical struggle — hubo un agarrón entre los dos ('there was a scuffle between the two'). In some Latin American varieties it also means a quarrel or argument. The suffix -ón adds the sense of a single, vigorous action.
