Usage Note

Zapatista refers to the political and guerrilla movement that takes its name from the Mexican revolutionary Emiliano Zapata, and specifically to the Ejército Zapatista de Liberación Nacional (EZLN), which launched an uprising in Chiapas, Mexico in 1994.
