Usage Note
Voluntariamente is the adverb from voluntario (voluntary). Spanish adverbs ending in -mente are formed from the feminine adjective form + -mente. In legal and official language, voluntariamente is the standard term for an act done of one's own free will, contrasting with obligatoriamente (compulsorily) or forzosamente (forcibly).
