Voluminoso describes objects that occupy a lot of space (un paquete voluminoso, a bulky parcel) or texts/works that are very lengthy (una obra voluminosa). It is a formal or written-register word; in casual speech Spaniards more often say enorme or grande. The feminine form is voluminosa.
