Usage Note
Viajar is the standard verb for travelling and is always intransitive in Spanish — you do not viajar un lugar but rather viajar a un lugar ('to travel to a place'). The noun viaje ('trip / journey') is closely related and extremely common. The expression ¡buen viaje! is the standard 'have a good trip'. Viajar en tren/avión/coche uses en for the mode of transport, not por or con.
