Also means
several
Usage Note
Varios is the masculine plural form; the feminine is varias. Unlike English 'various', which can suggest diversity of kind, varios/varias most commonly just means 'several' (a small, indefinite number). It always precedes the noun and cannot be used predicatively the way an adjective can.
Examples
"Hay varios coches en el aparcamiento."
Natural Translation
There are several cars in the car park.
Literal Translation
There-are several cars in the parking.
