Usage Note
Valle is masculine (el valle) and uses the ll digraph, pronounced like a y sound in most of the Spanish-speaking world (seseo regions) and with a distinct ll in parts of the Andes. It appears in many Spanish place names (Valle de Bravo, Valle del Cauca). The plural is regular valles.
